Manager Farm Service Network
Larry is our most experienced Service Advisor in the agriculture tire sales and service segment. Larry’s experience in the replacement tire business spans more than 40 years, holding various positions including truck and farm tire technician, service advisor, service manager and store manager.
Larry has been with Al’s Tirecraft for better than half of his career and this is where he honed his agriculture tire sales and service skills. He is our resident expert when it comes to conversions, maximizing flotation, changeovers and sourcing or fabricating custom wheels………. So it’s no surprise that he has been recently promoted to manager of our new “Farm Service Network” program.
Major Account Manager
Erle brings extensive hands on farming and farm equipment service experience to our FSN team and will certainly be a valuable asset to all of our farm customers and equipment dealers.
He grew up with five brothers on a dairy farm near Oxford Center so he has great firsthand experience of what farming is all about. After graduating from secondary school Erle went to work as a farm equip. mechanic .He then attended college as a farm equipment apprentice. Following this he accepted a position of service manager for a local farm equipment firm and eventually moved into retail sales which soon developed into a sales manager position.
Erle also gained valuable experience working as a Territory Manager for a forage machinery manufacturer – travelling the province servicing equipment dealers and farmers. From here he moved to a power sport dealership as their service manager responsible for sales and service of everything from lawnmowers to motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles.
Then back to the farm with his brother in law on a large cash crop operation where Erle did everything from spraying crops, harvesting and repairing machinery.
Sales Consultant, Agriculture Division
Kevin pretty much grew up around and in the tire business – working alongside his dad on service calls and in the shop at Al’s Tirecraft, Burgessville. After finishing his education, Kevin worked full time in various capacities including, shop tire technician, truck tire service tech in the shop and on the road, ag tire service tech, sales consultant at the retail counter and currently, sales consultant for both the commercial fleet and farm divisions. One of Kevin’s specialties is weighing farm tractors to insure proper tire fitment and pressures – thus maximizing performance.
Kevin also went back to college and completed a three year sales and marketing program. He studied everything from accounting, sales forecasting, advertising, small business entrepreneurship to professional selling / salesmanship.
Kevin has significant experience in both the truck and farm tire market segments and has developed countless long lasting relationships with our customers. He is also very active in supporting events in our local community.
